How we verify
A listing needs a source. No exceptions.
A shop is listed only if a real source says it installs parts the customer brings.
Two kinds of listings
Confirmed by business
17
The shop or mechanic says so on its own website, FAQ, terms page, or listing.
Reported by customer
14
A customer said so in a Reddit comment or a review. Treat these as leads and call to confirm.
What every listing shows
- A link to the source and a short quote from it
- The policy: takes your parts or conditional, plus the conditions (for example OEM only, approval first, no warranty on your part)
- Published labor rates, only when the business publishes them
- For customer reports, the date the comment was posted
- The date the listing was checked (all current listings: Oct 25, 2026)
What we don't do
- No made-up listings, ratings, or reviews. Unknown details stay blank.
- No phone numbers for private individuals unless they published them.
- No paid placement. Any future featured spot will be clearly labeled.
Before you buy parts
- Call and confirm the shop will take your exact part.
- Ask whether the labor is warrantied when you supply the part.
- Expect to pay labor again if the part is wrong or defective.
Stop calling around blind.
